Unless designated "Free Shipping", when you place an order our automated system will estimate shipping fees based on the shipping option you choose.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

We try to ship all in-stock items within 24 hours. Average shipping time is 2-4 business days from the shipment date on most products and sometimes up to 7 business days on larger products depending on the distance the order is being shipped. In some cases an alternate shipping method may be substituted for USPS/FedEx shipping. For example, larger/heavier items may be shipped via LTL freight shipping instead of USPS/FedEx. We will make every attempt to contact you in the event your product(s) are back-ordered or for any other known delay in shipping your order.
We ship Monday through Friday except on Holidays. Please note that all deliveries are made according to the Shippers delivery schedule. Any in-stock items ordered on Friday after 3PM will ship on the following Monday. Please note that any orders placed on a Friday before 2PM requesting Next Business Day Air shipping will not be delivered until the following Monday.
Items that are oversize or overweight are excluded from FedEx shipping. Free shipping does NOT include expedited shipping (ie. air shipping, overnight, 2nd day, 3 day select, etc. FREE shipping does not apply to shipments outside of the contiguous United States. Example: we do NOT provide FREE shipping to Alaska, Hawaii or Canada.)
Please Note: We sometimes repackage items to better protect the contents. Please do not refuse a shipment because it appears to be the wrong box (i.e., a different tool is pictured on the box) as we recycle our boxes to save money and the earth. If the wrong item IS shipped to you in error we are 100% responsible. We will ship the correct item to you at our expense and will pay for the return shipping costs as well.
Before receiving any order, please check merchandise thoroughly for any damage or shortages. DO NOT SIGN for any damaged merchandise. By signing for any damaged merchandise, you are assuming all responsibility for the damaged goods. Please refuse the order and have the carrier send it back to the originating address. If there are any shortages, they must be reported to firstname.lastname@example.org within 24 hours upon receipt of the shipment.
Upon arrival please inspect all packages, carefully noting any problems. For significant damage, the damaged portion of the shipment should be refused, or contact us immediately, before accepting. The tilt watch indicators (when applicable) should be as well. If the tilt indicator(s) indicate that tipping has occurred please note "possible concealed damage, subject to inspection" on the delivery receipt document. It is imperative that you note any irregularities on the delivery receipt document. Carton holes, dents, tears, etc. must be noted on the form the driver gives you to sign when you are accepting delivery.
Again, for significant damage, either refuse shipment or contact us immediately, before accepting the shipment. Please also make sure the shipment is complete, noting any shortages on the delivery receipt.
Smaller items will most of the time, ship via USPS or FedEx. If you need an item sooner you can select an expedited shipping method when adding an item to the shopping cart.
*Truck (LTL) Freight charges if not applied at the time you place the order, will be charged to your card when we process your order.
*Free Truck (LTL) Freight is, in general, to a commercial address with a loading dock and/or forklift, there may be other charges added for residential delivery and/or lift gates.
*Free Shipping will be via a mode we determine, i.e. USPS, USPS Priority, USPS Express, FedEx Ground, SmartPost, LTL Truck Freight, etc. In order to continue to offer free shipping we must choose the most economical form of transport for each purchase, if faster options are needed please contact us by phone for additional details.

Lift Gate Policy for Larger Items
Items such as generators, compressors, drill presses, band saws and heavy machinery may ship via "LTL Truck Freight".
When "items are shipped via freight truck" we will arrange delivery with one of several freight companies that we deal with on a daily basis. Make sure someone will be present to receive the items and that you give us a valid day time phone number in case the trucking company needs to contact you.
The driver will bring the item to the "tailgate" of the trailer, from that point it is up to you to unload the item (they are not obligated to help you unload the item or take the item to your garage).
If you need a lift-gate please notify us as there is usually a lift gate fee added by the trucking company. To avoid a lift-gate fee you can always pick up your order at the trucking terminal in your area. This is a popular delivery method.
When one of our items offers the choice of a "Lift Gate" it means the shipment will be lowered to the ground from the truck by the truck driver. (Freight Truck ground deliveries do not include delivery to your door/garage/inside.)
If you choose "No lift gate needed" you will be responsible for unloading the shipment from the freight truck. The trucking company will only move it to back of the truck.
Also be sure to fully inspect the shipment when it arrives. Notify the driver of any damage or missing pieces.
All orders will be shipped as complete as possible, however when necessary, orders may be held until all items are in stock and order can be shipped complete. Any back orders will be shipped automatically with no extra expense, should we choose to ship a partial order. We try to notify you of back-orders, if we can, as soon as possible. Back-orders in excess of 14 days may be cancelled without notice.
International Shipping Powered by
We have partnered with Bongo International to service our international customers.
At checkout, choose your international destination from the country drop down menu. Once you select your country and attempt to checkout, you will be automatically transferred to Bongo's Secure International Checkout page where you will be provided with international shipping costs as well as duties and taxes for your shipment.
Upon completion of your order, Bongo will charge your credit card for the entire purchase. We will ship the goods to Bongo's Global Distribution Facility where Bongo will process the order and transport the goods to your international address. There are no additional fees or registration processes with this service.

Just return unused tools in their original packaging within 20 days of receipt of goods for a refund or equal exchange. All returns are subject to a 20% restocking/return processing fee. Returns must be in their original box or packaging, and must not be shelf worn, deteriorated, torn or otherwise not saleable in its condition or appearance. No credit will be issued for returns that have been altered or abused.
Please note: Shipping charges are non-refundable (unless you had to return the product because of our error). Customer is responsible for ALL return shipping charges on exchanged or replaced merchandise. Customer will be responsible for freight charges both ways, even if the initial freight was “free.” The shipping charges will be the amount the freight carrier actually charges (not necessarily what we charged you).
Damaged, lost or short shipments should be reported to us immediately so that we can re-ship the merchandise and/or place a damage claim with the appropriate carrier (email us at email@example.com). Please do not accept packages that are obviously opened or damaged. Keep damaged goods and containers exactly as they were delivered until you are advised otherwise.
No returns, exchanges, or refunds on any woodworking or metalworking machinery, generators, larger compressors, gas operated equipment, and all tools repairable under warranty. In situations where a defective product can be repaired by a factory technician or service center, the individual manufacturer may mandate getting the machine or tool repaired, rather than replaced. This is at the manufacturer’s discretion. You may be asked to provide proof of purchase for warranty considerations, so please save your packing slip. While we make it a point to provide the most accurate and up to date product information, we are not responsible for product or specification changes made by manufacturers without our knowledge. Furthermore, although we strive for accuracy we cannot be held responsible for typographical errors.

Crediting Your Return
Return credits will be issued to the same card used to make the purchase. Refunds can take up to 30 days to process and be applied to your credit card. Although we process returns immediately, the amount of time to apply the refund to your credit card varies upon the processor. Refunds will be only for the product amount. Actual freight fees incurred (regardless of shipping promotions) and applicable restock fees are the responsibility of the customer.
